So that happened. <\/p>

Clocking in at just over 125,000 words the first draft of TGHIII is complete!  (Waits for applause)<\/p>

That has been the fastest I’ve ever written a novel (more applause please), so that’s fun. Perhaps my typing is getting faster, the world is getting more concrete in my mind, or – much more likely – I actively pushed myself to write consistently. Who knew that getting that daily word count was the key to getting words on a page?<\/span><\/p>

 <\/span>Now I get to have the sometimes fun and sometimes tedious affair that is editing, cutting and re-writing as part of the second draft. But before that process starts…today might just call for a victory beer. <\/span><\/p>
